Changelog

New features, improvements, and important fixes from each public extension release.

v1.0.7 Latest

A smoother path from trial to capture

  • Starting a Pro trial from All Tabs now continues directly to the batch-capture choices.
  • Starting a Pro trial from Batch URLs now opens the URL queue immediately, so you can continue without repeating your task.
  • Pricing offers clearly show sale price and normal renewal price. Monthly and Yearly sales apply to the first payment; Lifetime sales apply once.
  • Admin controls sale schedule, plans, status, and discount without changing the existing Stripe subscription model.
  • After verified checkout, Pro unlocks automatically in the purchasing browser; the emailed license key remains available for recovery or another browser.
  • Once a 7-day trial has ended, the extension shows upgrade-only messaging instead of offering another trial.
  • Checkout activation and backend requests are protected with tighter validation, short-lived activation binding, and abuse safeguards.
  • Payment fulfilment, management links, and account actions now have additional safeguards against unpaid checkouts, leaked link data, and cross-site requests.
v1.0.6

Keyboard shortcuts, your way

  • Keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+1/2/3) now follow your chosen Quick action — capture and copy, or capture and open the editor — instead of always opening the preview.
  • Copy-to-clipboard shortcuts now copy the image directly and show a quick confirmation notification when the copy succeeds.
  • On pages where the browser blocks copying (its own pages or the web store), the shortcut now tells you why and points you to the toolbar button to capture and copy there — and your capture is still saved.
  • Made shortcut capture reliable when used repeatedly, so the second and later shortcut presses always work.
  • Added shortcut hints under the capture buttons in the popup so the keyboard workflow is easy to discover.
  • Refreshed the extension icons for crisp display in system notifications and on dark taskbars.
v1.0.5

Try Pro free, plus tougher long-page capture

  • Try Pro before you buy: export a couple of PDFs and use the advanced annotation tools (ellipse, text, pen) free before upgrading.
  • More reliable full-page capture on long feeds and infinite-scroll pages, modals, and dialog views.
  • “Stop capture” now stops immediately and keeps everything captured so far.
  • Cleaner long-page stitching — no more duplicated or overlapping sections.
  • Faster, more accurate capture on app-style single-page sites.
  • Friendly reminders when you are near your daily free limit or your Pro trial is about to end.
v1.0.4

Sharper full-page captures

  • Fixed full-page capture coming out blank on modern dashboards and web apps.
  • Fixed full-page capture grabbing only a sidebar or side menu instead of the whole page.
  • Made capture faster and flicker-free on pages that already fit a single screen.
  • Added a built-in “Help Improve WebCapture” option to report a bug or suggest an idea — with optional Pro rewards for reports that help us improve.
  • Fixed copying a capture to the clipboard for visible-area and selection captures, and smoothed out the selection crosshair.
v1.0.3

Smarter full-page capture for web apps

  • Full-page capture now finds and captures the main content area on app-style sites like ChatGPT, instead of just the page frame.
  • Captures content inside scrollable panels even when a site blocks normal page scrolling.
  • Restores your original scroll position after a full-page capture finishes.
  • Start a free Pro trial directly from the extension.
v1.0.2

More reliable full-page captures

  • Improved full-page capture on websites that lock scrolling or use fixed-position page layouts.
  • Added a compact progress view while full-page capture is running.
  • Changed the Free plan allowance to 20 captures per day.
  • Improved license and checkout reliability.
v1.0.1

  • Added the Microsoft Edge Add-ons review link for the in-extension rating prompt.
  • Improved version consistency across the extension and automated UI checks.
v1.0.0

License-key activation

  • Replaced account sign-in with simple license-key activation.
  • Added device-bound Pro licenses with self-service device management.
  • Kept captures and capture history local to the browser.
  • Removed cloud upload and server-side sharing while retaining native device sharing.
v0.1.9

More dependable native sharing

  • Improved native share behavior so the operating-system share dialog opens reliably.
  • Increased the Free plan allowance from 10 to 30 captures per day.
