- Open a capture in the preview editor and turn on Annotate.
- Choose Ellipse, Text, or Pen in the toolbar.
- For text, click where the label should start and type; for pen, drag to draw freehand.
- Select Save to write the annotated version back into your capture history so you can reopen and keep editing it.
Free includes a small number of previews of these tools so you can try them on a real capture before deciding.
