Capture with a keyboard shortcut

The three built-in shortcuts and how to change them.

  1. Ctrl+Shift+1 (⌘+Shift+1 on macOS) captures the visible part.
  2. Ctrl+Shift+2 starts a selection capture.
  3. Ctrl+Shift+3 captures the entire page.
  4. Each shortcut follows your Quick action setting, so it can capture and copy, or capture and open the editor.
  5. Change or clear a shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts (edge://extensions/shortcuts on Edge).
