Download a capture as PNG, JPG, GIF, or BMP

Choosing an image format and where the default is set.

  1. Open Options and set Image format to the format you want downloads to use.
  2. In the preview editor, select Download to save the capture in that format.
  3. PNG keeps text sharp and is the best default for screenshots; JPG produces smaller files for photographic pages.

PNG and JPG are included on every plan. GIF and BMP export require Pro.
